Enjoy today!

Found a quote that suits Candy very well! Yes, she experienced various hardships and heartbreaks in life, but in the end, she remained optimistic and refused to give up.

The news about the Kenyan mall attack is truly depressing, and let us all remind ourselves that we should treasure what we have now and live our life to its fullest, every day!

“Although time seems to fly, it never travels faster than one day at a time. Each day is a new opportunity to live your life to the fullest. In each waking day, you will find scores of blessings and opportunities for positive change. Do not let your TODAY be stolen by the unchangeable past or the indefinite future! Today is a new day!”

Candy is a perfect example to youth today. No matter how great and harsh treatment she got from Neil and Eliza, or Aunt Elroy, she still appears to be cheerful and forgiving and moving forward to face new adventures that awaits her. I’m sure there are people out there who are like Candy and must be living with good life.

Sadly, there are young pop stars that have been reported on the news lately chose to make fool of themselves in public rather than face their issues and fight them. They used to be innocent-looking, bubbly, friendly…and were loved by her fans… nice role model for the kids… NOT.

Sigh… I know… I hope they will wake up one day rather than going down the hill from now on… 🙁

All these tragic events that happened around the world made me realize that we can’t hold grudge against someone or something any further. After all, our lives here on earth is short and we simply must forget every negative encounters we had in the past and enjoy what we have right now. Like some wise people say, how do you expect the world who start war to get along if we ourselves can’t even forgive those people who wronged us? Thank you for this topic, Ms Puddle!
