Some of you might know that I was planning to draw a sad scene, but I changed my mind. To those who have read my long story “Love Never Fails” may be able to recognize this scene of Albert and Candy waking up together, sharing a bed:
…she practically jumped as his voice rang from behind, which was raw from sleep, “Good morning, sweetheart.”
She instantly rolled over with glee. He looked incredibly sweet and guileless when he struggled to open his eyes, his long, thick eyelashes fluttering on his cheeks. The sight of him wearing his pajamas, his morning stubble, his groggy face and tousled blond hair only made him more endearing to her. When he yawned, she responded to his greeting with affection written all over her face, “Good morning, my love.”
So he smiled at her, his expression so tender and his blue eyes so limpid…
I did struggle whether to draw his stubble, but Albert is a man after all, so I did. 😛 I hope it looks convincing enough to you? Hope you like my new drawing. 😀
Happy Easter everyone!
