Ms Puddle's Haven

My plan for early 2015

Once again, happy new year, everyone! 😀 I found a link with some amazing pictures of fireworks from Sydney, Australia:

It’s been a while since I last wrote anything about Candy Candy. But first of all, I appreciate all of you for sending your enthusiastic feedback to my latest drawings around Christmas time. Your positive comments have certainly motivated me to draw more in the new year.

Nonetheless, I know some of you prefer reading my thoughts about Candy, Albert and Terry, or my perspectives of the manga and/or Candy Candy Final Story. On the other hand, more than one of you have asked me to write stories again. I do have some new ideas, but they are original (inspired by Candy Candy but not fanfics). Besides, once I begin, I will be quieter on my blog or draw less, so I can’t decide. 😛

Therefore, I’d like to hear from you. Please let me know your preference by writing to me. I don’t promise anything though… 😆

Talking about that, I have met some new friends here on my blog last year. Nice to meet you here! 🙂 For those of you who aren’t familiar with leaving a comment on my blog, you can provide a name (any name you like) and an email address. Alternatively, you can simply log in using your existing Facebook or Twitter account. Once your comment has been approved, your subsequent comments with the same email address or account will be automatically approved. Hence, you don’t need to wait for me to approve every single one of your comments. The system can also track how many comments you have entered so far. Who knows? Perhaps you will be the most active commenter at the end of 2015? 😉

I have received more than a handful of Christmas or New Year presents as shown below. If you want to see the bigger versions, you can click on the thumbnails or view them on my Facebook page. Thank you, lovely ladies, for your thoughtfulness! ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

Not only that, my dear friend Antlay gave me a wonderful surprise for the new year! She translated the first chapter of “It must have been love” to French for me. I hadn’t expected this at all, and needless to say, I was immensely touched and rendered speechless by her generous gift. Dear Antlay, I really can’t express my gratitude enough!!!

While I was still in shock reading her words, a particular scene of that chapter flashed across my mind. Right away an image materialized in my head. Thus, I have decided to draw that and publish it together with the chapter. Hopefully it won’t take me too long to get that done. 🙄

Anyway, it’s going to be a busy year to me because I have taken two new challenges in real life. Yet, I will strive my best to keep this blog alive, and remember, your comments are the fuel that keeps me moving forward. Thank you very much, my friends, for your continued support! Have a blessed new year!
