This is Part 3 of Candy’s letter to Albert. Merci Antlay! ❤❤❤
After driving for hours, Albert parked at the family villa in Lakewood, strolling around the place with Candy from one gate to another. Note that this was the first time they walked around the villa, just the two of them. Tell you what, Albert must have his reasons to take Candy all the way to Lakewood from the Pony’s Home. Other than returning her diary to her in a special room, I’m not the only one who believes that he wanted her to visit his “family”, not unlike a man bringing his girlfriend to meet his family members. 😉 Albert actually took Candy inside to enter the family memorial hall (first time for Candy), which she wrote about in her mental letter to Anthony. I figure not everyone was allowed to enter this memorial hall (not even as the adopted daughter years ago), so this indicates Candy was truly special to Albert now.
Note that Lakewood was a place full of precious memories not only to Candy, but even more so for Albert. This was where he had grown up after all. I wonder if they talked at all when walking together side by side? Or were they too emotional to speak? Anyway, I suppose Candy wrote down all these in detail in order to show Albert that she understood him and respected his feelings, and that they shared something in common. After several letter exchange for months, who else knew Albert better than Candy? 🙂
