Hi all, it’s my honor to announce another good news! 🎉 😀 If you have been following my blog you might have recognized the name aya さん. Yes, she was the one who translated my short story Reunion / 再会. Her translation 再会 has been very well received, and to my pleasant surprise, it still remains one of my popular posts (as of today its number of hits is already four times more than my original story in English, Reunion).
Therefore, aya さん decided to take up a much more difficult translation project — to translate my series The Myths of Candy Candy Final Story to Japanese 🗾. My friend aya さん is committed and driven in her endeavor to help Japanese readers understand the facts during the 1930s, provided by Alex, that are related to CCFS. Together we have agreed to name the new series, Candy Candy Final Story の嘘と真実 (which can be translated to ‘The lies and truth of Candy Candy Final Story’). I will start publishing some time later this week.

Ms Puddleのブログサイトへようこそ。Ms Puddleのファンフィクや物語に関する論理的で冷静な分析をいつも楽しみにしている一人のayaです。昨秋、このサイトのコメント欄に彗星のように現れたAlex。10月から12月にかけてはAlexとMs Puddleの共同でMyths of Candy Candy Final Storyがブログ上で発表されました。このシリーズは大変なセンセーションを巻き起こし、ブログ読者とのコメント欄でのやり取りは100件を超えました。
私が今頃になって昨年投稿されたものを訳しているのは、Part 3と4が私の手に余りそうで、どうしようか迷ったりしていたからです。でもこんな“目からウロコ“の話をほっておくのはもったいない。ここは開き直ってできる限りやってみることにしました。翻訳に関して全くの素人で、至らぬ点も多いとは思いますが何卒ご容赦ください。
