My apology to my friend Antlay! I should have posted the following montage before those two in Part 3 🙁
That is, combining with the first montage in Part 3, the Japanese passage is

Candy Candy Final Story (Japanese)
「キャンディ……そろそろ、バッジを返してくれないか……」

This was said with an awkward smile, don’t you agree?

Je goûtais cet instant de bonheur parfait quand le klaxon de la voiture de Georges, au pied de la colline, m’a ramené à la dure réalité. Peuh !
For the Japanese text and my translation/interpretation, please check my other post Lost in Translation (Part 5).
I can hardly believe it’s been a month already since I began working from home. I hope all is well with you. Since some of you admire Igarashi’s drawings, for your interest, you can check my friend’s Facebook page, Candy y Albert, el Príncipe de la Colina. This photo album shows Igarashi’s Artbook II, where you can see Candy Candy’s characters in colors. Also, the manga version was originally serialized in Nakayoshi magazine, and this photo album shows the magazine covers, the majority of which were Igarashi’s drawings of Candy. ❤️
