I love animals, but that doesn’t mean I’m a veggie fan

It is indeed strange that Albert of all people would order a fox hunt as a welcoming party. On the other hand, I haven’t read anywhere that he’s a vegetarian, even though he is such an animal lover. So it seems that he wasn’t opposing to al costums in high society.

I agree with you that this fox hunting, or rather the death of Anthony because of it, is one of the things that bonds them very strongly.

The coloring of drawing is very nicely done, especially since this is your first attempt 😀

    • Thank you CKati! Good point about Albert not being a vegetarian! 🙂
Your comment actually reminded me something I should have said! I will modify my post slightly later.

Thank you for your encouragement about my first coloring attempt! I’m now thinking which one of my previous illustrations I should color next. 😀

      To ckati

Mizuki may not mention Albert as vegan but there are animal lovers who do not like to harm animals for food. There are some animal lovers cry when they see people kill bugs. So, I don’t doubt in my mind that Albert is a vegetarian.

        Hi FarmerGrlTX,

I am sure you’re absolutely right about how animal lovers feel when animals are harmed.
Nonetheless, Albert did order a fox hunt which makes one think that although he loves animals, he also accepts some contemporary traditions (involving harming animals such as foxes). Therefore it is possible and to me actually very likely that he is not a vegetarian.
But this is of course something that I think and not a fact.

Maybe Mizuki didn’t find it important to mention something like Albert being a vegetarian or not.

I think the bare arm shouldn’t be that longer and the forearm should be behind Albert, just a suggestion.

I like this better than the previous one. Good job!

Where are Albert’s eyes and lips? 😀

    Nice touch!

On your first try adding it’s coloring and shading, I’d say it’s GREAT! Congratulations! You should turn your stories into manga just for fun 😉

Back to the topic… perhaps Albert was following the tradition of the Ardlays and had to order for fox hunting even though he loved the animals and against it. He could always think of a way to celebrate Candy’s first part of the Ardlay family rather than fox hunting, and Anthony would be still alive, right?

    • Thank you for your encouragement!!! 🙂

Yes I think fox hunting was common social events for high society too. 🙂

I also agree that MPG should try to turn her series into manga! her stories completely compliment both CC and CCFS! how nice!!! I hope she will do it someday…. soon! 🙂

Glad to know I’m not alone with the manga idea based on a fanfic. 😉

I think you should try it, Ms Puddleglum. Someone I know in another fandom made a manga that featured from a fanfic. I’m sure you can do it. We’ll support you! 😀

        • As I mentioned above, I don’t think I have the skills. But I do enjoy illustrating some scenes in my stories, and I will continue whenever an idea hits me. 😀

      • I don’t think I’m capable to draw a manga, Majorie and Albertfanatix… honestly! I’m too slow and still far from being proficient in drawing. 🙁 But thank you so much for your encouragement! I’m glad you like my stories 😀

I would like to hear from you!
