Stranded in the middle of nowhere
I have wanted to color this old pencil sketch for a long while, and I finally got it done. I hope you will like it, which is based on Chapter 11 of my story, “Love Never Fails”. For more details, please refer to my previous post https://mspuddleshaven.com/2013/06/01/rockstown-incident-part-2-2/.
In the manga, after successfully escaping from Neil’s trap, Candy ran into Albert, who was looking for her but his car had broken down. They were stranded in the middle of nowhere for the rest of the night as a result. Sitting side by side on the grass, Candy, swaddled in a coat brought by Albert, fell asleep not long after that by leaning her head against his shoulder.
Therefore, this is solely my imagination of what happened to them both after sunrise:
You might have noticed that Albert’s hair was disheveled and his clothes were soiled because in my chapter he had to jump out of his car just before it had collapsed. Likewise, Candy’s hair was messy too.
Please note that this is my first time trying to color without using outline at all. I admit there are visible flaws, but please feel free to suggest ways for me to improve. Thank you!
