    Hi Ms Puddle,
This is such a lovely picture of Candy and Albert. I believe that you’ve captured Candy’s expression and emotions when she was reading Albert’s letter. It seems that her initial insecurities had died down and she was getting more and more comfortable in expressing her feelings to Albert. It wasn’t only Albert who was insecure about Terry but Candy was also insecure about Albert’s feelings for her. They still had a long way to go until they would confess what they feel about each other. I found their confession about longing for those days at the Magnolia where they had been living together so touching because it reveals how they miss each other so painfully. Those who continue to believe that these feelings are just based on friendship are deluding themselves.

    Cheers,
    Myra

Thank you Myra 😍 Glad you like my new drawing for Candy’s birthday. Yes you bet, it was her reactions when reading Albert’s long letter. I figure she would go up Pony’s Hill to read it. First, she wouldn’t be distracted by kids or other things. Besides, it was a reply from her Prince on the Hill to her lengthy letter, in which she called him a prince 17 times! It was a love letter, no less.

My sentiments exactly, Myra! These letters were filled with feelings, and those who refuse to believe they were no longer just friends are in denial. As you pointed out, Albert and Candy were undoubtedly fond of their days at the House of Magnolia, but in their correspondence we could feel some insecurities from both sides… until the moment when Candy could sign her letter with love and gratitude. 😘

I would like to hear from you!
